The Bluebill is a free daily newsletter published by ADEM FOUNDATION LLC (“The Bluebill,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our websites or subscribe, how we use it, and how you can have it deleted.
Information we collect:

• Your email address, and your name if you choose to give it, when you subscribe.

• Newsletter engagement data, such as whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.

• Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit our sites, such as browser type, device type, approximate location and the page that referred you.

• How you found us, such as the ad or link you clicked.

• Anything you send us when you reply to an email or contact us.

How we use it:

• To send you the newsletter and messages related to your subscription.

• To understand which stories and topics readers find useful, and to improve the newsletter.

• To measure which of our ads and marketing channels bring in readers.

• To answer your messages and requests.

• We do not sell your personal information.
  
  Who we share it with:

  We share information only with service providers that help us run The Bluebill, such as our email platform (beehiiv), our website hosting providers, our payment processor (Stripe) for any paid products or sponsorships, and advertising platforms such as Meta that help us measure our ads. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies on our sites and process data under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law.

  Our Meta app:
  We use a Meta (Facebook) developer app only to create and manage The Bluebill’s own ads in our own ad account. This app does not ask Facebook or Instagram users to log in and does not collect personal data from

  them.

  Cookies:
  Our sites and our service providers may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your preferences and measure visits and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

  Keeping your data:
  We keep your information while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we delete it or make it anonymous, except where we must keep it for legal reasons.

  Your choices and data deletion:

  Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.

  To see, correct or delete your data, email us from the address you subscribed with.

To request deletion, email [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my data.” We will delete your information from our systems and our email platform within 30 days and confirm by email when it’s done.

Children:
The Bluebill is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we will delete their information.

Changes to this policy:
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
